ANALOG-OUTPUT UPPER BOARD
OPTION 05
Mechanical Reference

FEATURES
Output proportional to meter reading
±2 V dc output range
±1 mA drive capability
Continuous output without digitizing steps

APPLICABLE INSTRUMENTS
Model 204B for DC, AC, true-RMS or process signals
Models 267B and 268 for thermocouple or RTD temperature signals

The 05 is an upper-board option which provides an analog voltage output proportional to the number of counts displayed by a host panel meter. It is designed for driving strip-chart recorders, trend indicators and other instruments which require a conditioned analog input. It is capable of driving 1 mA with less than 1% error.

HIGH ACCURACY
The 05 uses a proprietary pulse-width-to-voltage converter, which avoids the staircase effect of conventional digital-to-analog converters.
